Tan CDC Caddis
This fly is tied on a curved barbless hook and a high purity tungsten bead to get you down to where the fish are feeding. This is a great tan caddis imitation with a CDC collar to give it a very appealing look in the water. When this fly gets wet it will trap small amounts of air to look like an emerging bug. Often times fish will key in on emerging caddis flies while they bounce along the bottom. This is a very effective pattern on any water where there are tan caddis flies but it also works as a great general attracting pattern and I have even caught fish on it during the winter. You can fish this fly euro style or under an indicator.
